Offering an in-depth look at current market conditions and projections for the nonwovens industry in China, a new report, “China Nonwovens Industry Outlook—Trends & Forecasts for 2012 and Beyond,” is now available from INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry. Among the subjects covered by the report are Dynamics Affecting the Future of China Business, the Outlook for the Disposable and Durable Nonwoven Markets, Sales and Volume of Major Nonwoven Segments and Nonwovens Consumption in 2011 and Outlook by Technology. “China has become one of the largest and fastest growing producers of nonwovens,” says INDA president Dave Rousse. “Rising wages, a rapidly expanding middle class, and a new focus on domestic consumption will drive increased sales of nonwoven products.” The report was compiled and written by industry consultant Mark Snider. “China is already a vital player in the global nonwovens game and its influence and importance will only continue to expand in the future,” says Snider. “It is a huge producer of nonwoven fabrics for both internal consumption and export.” This report includes special focus on China business dynamics, market size, the Chinese government, new business development strategy and the nonwovens product mix. The heart of the report looks at nonwoven end-use categories, including disposables such as baby diapers and pads, feminine hygiene, adult incontinence, medical/surgical and wipes. Also included is coverage of durable products ranging from geotextiles and roofing to automotive and filtration media.
